Bass Solo!!!

Always a privilege to serve every Sunday. I do take home a lot of learnings whenever I get to play live. For this instance a sudden bass solo which I haven't done in years! Yeah I am not afraid to let you all see the flaws as I am a work in progress. I do not shy away with mistakes as I embrace them and take them with a student mindset always. Once you stop having that student mindset, growth stops. In this instance I would like to work on being more relax when I execute a slap solo. I also tried for the first time to use a drive setting with a pick on my #jazzbass patch inside my #hxstomp. And yes using a pick is not my comfort zone but the piece is asking for it. Combining them with the #aguilaroctamizer and #filtertwin to give a different texture. There is a learning opportunity on moments such as this. Using the trusty #bassmods K4 here as my main weapon of choice. And lastly, everything is unrehearsed and just enjoying every moment.
